The story of SBD Trading
Since 2018 we have been building a Dutch brand house from Deventer. What started with selling products through a single channel grew into two own brands, our own warehouse and sales through 10+ well-known stores.
Everything in-house, from day one
SBD Trading was founded in 2018 with a simple principle: good products don't have to be expensive, but quality is never negotiable. To make that happen, we kept everything in our own hands from the start - from product development and purchasing to marketing, logistics and customer service.
That approach grew into two own brands: Strex for electronics and appliances, and Avalo for home and living. Together good for more than 200 unique products, available at the best-known stores in Europe.
Today our team works from the warehouse and office in Deventer. That's where all stock is kept, orders are picked the same day and our own service team answers every question within 24 hours.

Start of selling own products through Dutch sales channels.
- 2020Strex comes of age
Our electronics brand grows into a broad assortment, from air fryers to action cams.
- 2022New warehouse & launch of Avalo
New warehouse in Deventer and the introduction of our home & living brand Avalo.
- 2024Expansion to Germany, Austria & Switzerland
Our brands cross the border: first sales in the DACH region.
- 2026Expansion to France, Spain & Portugal
Further European growth: our products now also available in Southern Europe.
- 2026Expansion to Poland, Italy & England
Our assortment reaches more and more European customers.
